Getting Out Of The Hobby - Temporarily

This breaks my heart, but I am selling my 150g tank.

I'm selling my house and can't take it with me. The good news is I will return to the hobby as soon as I get a new home. I'm not going to write too much about my tank except that everything is included except my Kessil A360WE's, Apex, ATO, Super Reef Octopus 3000 In Sump Protein Skimmer, and MP40QD's. I will throw in my extra Jeabo WP40's and my backup skimmer. However, my livestock is the real deal here.

I'll list my fish, but I have too many corals to name so the pictures I hope will give you an idea of what I have. Its taking me years to collect and grow these.

    Mystery Wrasse
    Hoeven Wrasse
    Wantanabe Angel (Female)
    2 Clown's
    4 Pajama Cardinals
    Falco Hawk
    Orange Shoulder Tang
    Tomini Tang
    Yellow Tang

I'm asking $1000. If you have any questions just ask. I hope the person that buys this will consider giving me a frag or two once I get set up again.

Thanks Coach! It's funny how things turn out. Six months ago I was designing my dream tank. I'll be back bigger and better God willing. This is a really good deal.

Whats your time frame to have this sold? I'm fairly interested. just need to get thru the holidays to get some free time to handle such a project.
    Four individual systems Right now.
30gal red sea 130d lps/softies/anemone tank, kalk ato, reef bright led strip.
    40 softies set up.
550 total gallon marineland 300 DD main system 18 months old now and stabilized. T5 VHO lights/ BLUE led strip, Fully custom built LIFE REEF sump and FUGE, AWESOME 60" tall skimmer, and 1000+ gallon rated custom Ca reactor, 3 50 gallon attached SPS frag systems lite with a combination of HM and LED and T5 fixtures.
A 200 gallon MARS quarintine with UV system/ medication for new arrivals.

Still lots to learn about the hobby but I have amassed a great collection of real beauties. I have broken past the stage of keeping things alive and now there actually growing out. Which is a big hurdle for many beginners I must admit. Good information and advise is hard to get sometimes and the club has done wonders with respect to quality advise and help in the hobby.

I am listing my house probably the first week in January. According to my realtor homes are going fast in my subdivision so i'd like to get it done as soon as possible. I absolutely understand the logistical hurdles with such a move and unfortunately my disability won't allow me to be much help with the move so you will need help from at least two other people to transport everything. If you are seriously interested send me PM please. I love my fish and corals just as much as any dog or cat so my concern is they must go to a good home.

Don't forget my future frag clause because I'll be back as soon as I can.

I met up with John on Saturday and we broke down his beautiful 150 till he is ready at the new place to set up a new system. A club member and a friend helped me get the job done. Soon enough John will have A new house and be ready for a new system. Much of the rock work offered some great frags that I will enter into the next club frag event!! let me tell you John had some of the best stuff you can get. What a awesome set up. Pictures don't do it justice. He had great information about his system and his parameters, and we talked about much of his successes as we worked to bag up and load the live stock and tank.

I want to take this chance to thank PAPADRAGON for being a great active member. There is a few choice pieces I promised to store till he is ready to get them back! He gave me a great deal on this set up. It was pest free nuisance algae free and in general it was in its prime and growing out nicely.

Thank you for the kind words! I think you are the only other member I've had an opportunity to share my tank with. I can't thank Jim enough for treating my tank critters exactly how I wanted them treated by their new owner. He performed a flawless breakdown of my tank. I hope anyone that receives a frag of one of my corals enjoys it as much as I did.

I've already found a few homes with walls big enough for my dream tank. I can't wait to start a new system and may be I'll figure out how to successfully grow an acropora this time.
