I feel like my head is spinning with all the information being passed around about the ESA and then corals they are trying to list as Threatened and how that will really impact us as a whole. I have sat through two lectures by Julian Sprung and listened to every word he said. I sat through Mike Paletta's speech at WWC and how he sort of touched on the same subject and then listed to Jake Adams who very narrowly touched on the subject. I think my view more closely resembles the view Jake proposed which is a wait and see and if the "sky is falling" scenario plays out like PIJAC says it will I will probably just keep on doing what I am doing.

Julian is very passionate about the subject and looks like he is donating much of his time to support PIJAC and my take away from his talks is that he has a "sky is falling" view of this whole scenario. I sort of bought into it the first time I heard him talk but after thinking about it I really have no idea how I feel about it anymore. Over on RC I saw a thread that Leonard Ho (op-ed for Advanced Aquarist) started and one thing for sure is that this is a VERY polarizing subject. Leonard posted an "elitist" op-ed in Advanced Aquarist that opposes the sky is falling view and takes a much more pedestrian view of enforcement than say Julian Sprung. Here is Leonard's op-ed, http://www.advancedaquarist.com/blog...t-under-attack. He talks down to the hobbyist but if you can get passed that I was wondering what your take is on all the information that is being passed around, by Sprung, Ho, Ret Talbot, LFS, fellow reefers, etc.

Here are some more links that Leonard Ho provided...
