    philip_r5 - Sorry for your loss, stop by and pick out another? It won't be the same but there are lots of nice fish in need of homes.

    @swirlygig - I have some Darwin Blacks, some regular barred Ocellaris, a pair of MaiTais, and some fish like the one in techbiker's post. Also, I love to trade them for frags.

    Is the new one on my dougthers thank, just not got a decent pic from the large one.

    Thanks so much for posting those pics, I really love how the markings have changed over time.

    Many dried foods contain Astaxanthin which has been known to bring out the color red in fish. Maybe this is responsible for the red you're seeing? Since the fish is has both O&W and B&W ancestors, I'd expect them to have the darker almost mocha colored orange which tends to look red to me. I'm not sure if clam meat contains high levels of astaxanthin.
