This is used to measure the usefulness of the light on aquariums.

Sufficient lighting is vital for growing healthy coral. There are two critical components to adequate lighting for aquariums, intensity and spectra. Zooxanthellae is the algae that lives on the coral and through photosynthesis, provides glucose, glycerol, amino acids and oxygen for the coral. Light (or photons) in the wavelengths of 400 to 700 nanometers is responsible for photosynthesis and is referred to as Photosynthetically Active Radiation (PAR) or Photosynthetic Photon Flux (PPF). This range is also referred to as Quantum.

The next meeting is an hour and half away from me. I will not be attending the September meeting. I drove from Lakeland to Sanford to pick it up (3 hours round trip). I don't feel it's fair to ask me to deliver it to the next person. Although, I do drive a company vehicle and travel daily for work all over central Florida. I would not have a problem meeting up with someone who has a flexible schedule and is willing to coordinate with me during the week.

If in oviedo / tuskawilla area you are welcome to drop it off at my house prior to the meeting. Address is on the home page top banner for next meeting. Usually someone is home.
( or can leave under southern window on front porch Planter. It is well sheltered)

Sounds good. I have a cell site in Oviedo I need to do a pre construction walk at. I can probably schedule it around your schedule. Let me know what works for you.

I will (hope to be, work permitting) be at the frag auction this month and will have it then.

If you are in desperate need of PAR reading ....give me a call or text to set up a drop off or pick up.
