    Giant Tonga Mushroom - Feeding?

    Saw my Giant tonga mushroom close up for the first time, See photo, Is it feeding?, we think we saw somthing trapped inside. Whatever it was doing it looked great. Its about the size of a tennis ball closed up.Click image for larger version.

    Mine do that sporatically. Sometimes it's after I've fed mysis, sometimes randomly. I have given up trying to understand these beasts.

    Excellent! (I figured as much - I brought them from the midwest when I moved here, and haven't seen anyone else with them in the area)
