In the SPS tank, it's two 120W Led pendants. Boy those things are strong. I just got them in July. Before, I had two 150Watt MH Pendants. It just wasn't enough for those two browned out acros at the top. I was going to upgrade with 250W MH but when I saw the leds that George had, I went for it. Price was right. Will never go back. Electricity $$ is going down at my house. In addition, I had to take out the plate coral, the neon green candy cane and some other softies that were in the SPS tank because the Leds blew a hole right thru them. They are all healed up now in the softie tank. My purple long tenacle hated the leds too. Too bright for him. The two Mr. Brownies are starting to color up tho. I have an Aqua Medic T5HO x6 over my zoas now. But If I were to upgrade, I'd get two 60W Led pendants for them. And I'd still have to do a slow light acclimation.
By the way, the reason the tank looks so clean is I had to break down the whole thing, put all my acros in tubs, take the tank up to Davy so he could reinforce the external overflow. It was starting to bow out a little and it really bothered me. That's why the tank looks new. I had to re-epoxy some rocks together that I had to take out and put new sand in there. The new sand kinda sucks, really silty and it's all over my rocks. While I had it broken down, I scraped all the coraline out.

Hey everyone! After much going back and forth, mostly back, I am keeping my corals. At least the ones that I haven't promised. I'm going to give it another six months and see if finances improve and see what happens. I am so happy, I can't tell you how pleased I am by this decision. My heart was breaking one minute and now, it's getting MUCH better

    Thanks!
