well done
Glad to see your tank is doing better
I took a weedeater to it :p
I started with raising the Mag. Its currently at 1500. Then went in and started pulling it out, while using a siphon right next to my fingers to pull out as much of the floaters as possible. Then I took a filter sock put it at the end of the siphon tube and went in with a brush and started bunching the crap out of the rock while siphoning right next to it. I also added my bio balls back to the sump, and cleaned all the equipment good.

Great news! I thought you might have resorted to ROWA phos.
Well I do have two reactors. One with Oceans Blend Phosphate Remover and another for Activated Carbon.

I also forgot to mention that I cleaned out my Ro/DI as well. I didn't do the routine purging and it apparently clogged up with the bad crap. This may have been one of the leading causes of the problem.

nice job, your not messing around eh
Philip, looks like your so good at this you got the wall under the sump to grow purple Coraline algae also! Tank looks great now i guess you just have to take the time n go thru it real good sometimes. I hope ultimately you enjoyed tinkering with the system. Thats whats its about.
Four individual systems Right now.
30gal red sea 130d lps/softies/anemone tank, kalk ato, reef bright led strip.
40 softies set up.
550 total gallon marineland 300 DD main system 18 months old now and stabilized. T5 VHO lights/ BLUE led strip, Fully custom built LIFE REEF sump and FUGE, AWESOME 60" tall skimmer, and 1000+ gallon rated custom Ca reactor, 3 50 gallon attached SPS frag systems lite with a combination of HM and LED and T5 fixtures.
A 200 gallon MARS quarintine with UV system/ medication for new arrivals.
Still lots to learn about the hobby but I have amassed a great collection of real beauties. I have broken past the stage of keeping things alive and now there actually growing out. Which is a big hurdle for many beginners I must admit. Good information and advise is hard to get sometimes and the club has done wonders with respect to quality advise and help in the hobby.
THANKS Orlando Reef Educators Organization!!!!

Took tank apart today. May become a fish only now.
Everything will be moved to 125 once it cycles.

Thanks. I've kinda been neglecting it. Getting ready to set up the 125 in wall. Figuring everything out. I ordered the tank. Now to remove the old one and get everything ready.

I keep water, last checked about 600 gallons worth.
Problem is animals keep using it as there water closet.
Worst of all the littlest ones keep using up all the supplies.
I will be taking the tank down shortly to put the livestock into my 125. This is the last FTS.
Thanks for viewing this thread. I hope you like the upcoming thread of my In wall 125.
