    Fish Trap!!!

    Hi everybody,

I have a Powder Brown Tang and an ORA Naked Clown, both of which need to be captured. I have tried luring to food and netting, to no avail. Does anybody have a fish trap I could use to capture these two rascals?

    I would be deeply appreciative,
    Mitch

    Hi Mitch,

I have one you can use, I just need to look for it.
I'll let you know tonight once I find it, you're more than welcome to use it if it is still around.
    Good Luck,

I have a acclimatetor which doubles as a trap. But haven't had much luck with it. U could try it. I usually just lower the water and go netting.

I keep water, last checked about 600 gallons worth.
Problem is animals keep using it as there water closet.
Worst of all the littlest ones keep using up all the supplies.

Mitch you can make your own DIY trap out of a 2 liter bottle. Get a two liter bottle cut the top off so there is an opening just at the height of the fish. Then cut the top again about 1 inch past the cone. Invert the cone inside the rest of the bottle and place two small holes at the 3 and 9 oclock position. Tie the two pieces together with fishing line. Now you have a trap with the cone being able to work like a hinge so you can remove the fish.
