May be interesting to some. Start of the graph is where I put ORP probe in few days ago. Two days ago I added 20ml of H2O2 that gave a fairly big bump (funny how so little affects it so much). It later lowered, but never to earlier levels. Yesterday I split the 20 ml in two doses and did some clean up in the tank. Cleaning was blowing off stuff from rock work with a pump, adding 5 micron filter sock to catch it all. And removing top layer of the sand that had some sort of algae on it. 5 micron sock remained for a next few hours and then was removed, since then there is just a normal 50 or whatever micron sock in the tank. Seems like it's been climbing ever since.
Nice graph

Michael. I'm thinking your probe is still breaking in a bit.. I'll try n post a clip of mine if i can figure it out.
Four individual systems Right now.
30gal red sea 130d lps/softies/anemone tank, kalk ato, reef bright led strip.
40 softies set up.
550 total gallon marineland 300 DD main system 18 months old now and stabilized. T5 VHO lights/ BLUE led strip, Fully custom built LIFE REEF sump and FUGE, AWESOME 60" tall skimmer, and 1000+ gallon rated custom Ca reactor, 3 50 gallon attached SPS frag systems lite with a combination of HM and LED and T5 fixtures.
A 200 gallon MARS quarintine with UV system/ medication for new arrivals.
Still lots to learn about the hobby but I have amassed a great collection of real beauties. I have broken past the stage of keeping things alive and now there actually growing out. Which is a big hurdle for many beginners I must admit. Good information and advise is hard to get sometimes and the club has done wonders with respect to quality advise and help in the hobby.
THANKS Orlando Reef Educators Organization!!!!
Also forgot to add, I installed reactor with cup of BRS Rox in it yesterday as well, which would account for continuing rise of ORP as water gets cleaner I would imagine.

Where did you pull that information from?

Would diffusing oxygen into the water do the same thing then? Kind of like CO2 is used in freshwater planted tanks. Although I guess this would cost more with the tank, regulator etc.
I think with this is theres no gauge on Oxygen in the water, that is easy enough to regulate with the oxygen being added via tank and regulator. The Sochting Oxydator on the other hand takes all the guess work out of it ( Chemical Reaction )

Yes you could dose straight from a O2 tank. but there is such a small flow and small amount and so much great to do it.. the catalyst and peroxide makes it cheap and slow and pretty much safe.
But its the same thing, basically 24/7 dissolving pure O2 into the tank water till its saturated.
