I bought the wood yesterday. It took me approximately 4 hours to build the frame for the stand. I'm going to add plywood to the top, bottom and sides. The top and bottom are going to be fastened with screws. The sides and front are going to be magnetic quick release.

The stand looks hurricane proof.

Nice job...Pretty sure that will be left standing in a disaster...house probably gone.

Thanks! I can't edit my original post. The 29" support lumber fits between the top and lower 2" x 4"s (3.5" each, lengthwise), so the math is the heigth minus the 2 - 2" x 4" (Heigth - 7" = 29"). I'm hoping the details might help someone if they want to build a similar stand.
