So, I have recently started building my 90g back up, it is light with a pair of ocean revive LEDs, which I had success with. Now I would like to supplement my lights with more violet spectrum (400-450nm). As well as place some lunar lights in the hood for some night viewing. My question is what do y'all use or what would you like to use? I am pretty handy but it appears that "build my LED" no longer exist, so I am looking for ideas. Jim
Could buy an inexpensive led fixture from l;if guard that has most of those features and supplement it will higher power lights for main lighting. I prefer mostly strong blue light personally. Rapid LED is also still in business. diy led stuff.
if your handy and have built your own before. or willing to learn and such. If you liked build my led. Check out "Led supply" and rapid as jim suggested. they both have some which caters to reefers :-)
I use different set ups on different tanks DIY builds on the 300 gal. second hand AI and then the Chinese cheapos on different other tanks. Would like to run some metal halides, but my power bill wouldn't like that. Not to mention the Spousal factor.
Do you guys use T5s?
