Forums will be down for 1 hour during the weekend

This coming weekend I'm planning to perform a much needed upgrade to our forum.

The purpose of the upgrade is to fix some vulnerability/security issues that are currently affecting our forum.

I'm still not sure at what time during this weekend I will be performing this task, but I'm expecting this upgrade to take me no more than 1 hour, during this time the forums will be down, this is going to be late at night so that it doesn't affect many of us.

Stay tuned for the day and time of this scheduled upgrade.

The upgrade has been cancelled !!!
There's an old PHP version running on our host and the new forum version is incompatible with it.

I'll reschedule this upgrade for another date, we need to upgrade something first.

The upgrade was performed today, July 28th, there were some version incompatibilities that needed to be taken care of, all those problems were fixed with the help of vBulletin support.
We should be good now, for many years I hope, unless there are vulnerabilities that needed to be fixed.
