So I have in the past used a garbage can to hold water for my ATO, that will not work for my new setup. Has anyone here built their own acrylic container or tank, I'm willing to learn, I just need some resources. Thanks Jim

Acrylic can be tuff to cut straight enough for it to be strong. the tool and materials to do just one acrylic project is cost prohibitive. I prefer plabcti 55 GAL barrels. brute trash cans are also very universal and are functional for other things well. Always go as big as you can.
I have made such a container for my ATO due to size constraints. Best is if you have a router table that can get real straight nicely finished edges. I used a nice table saw that gave straight edges. As jim said the acrylic is expensive unless you have hook up with volume. I got mine at skycraft which is a surplus supply place. Not the easiest of process weldon makes a series of acrylic bonding (supplies) as I was not worried about looks rather sealing I used a goopier version which leaved more residue but I had success in making.

All looks good, I got lost at that skycraft store, ended up just using an old 10 gallon aquarium I had laying around.
